These renditions of
traditional folk are carved from alpine maple by the Peter Mahlknecht
family. Their artists have been top-rated since the
patriarch (Dominik) served as sculptor for King Charles X
of France. Their workshops are in northern Italy
near the Swiss border (southern Tyrol).
